Clubs For Adults At The Library

Clubs for Adults at the Library

Card & Game Club: Meeting the third Wednesday of each month, this club is intended for adults looking to play cards and other games and to enjoy the company of other Audubon residents. Pinochle, canasta, king’s corners, samba, and rummy cube are only a few of the games that are played. Beginners are welcome, and no registration is required. Just show up ready to play!

Knitting & Crocheting Club: This group of knitters and crocheters meets monthly to talk patterns and projects, share tips and tricks, and, of course, to socialize. Unfortunately, this is not a class. Some experience is required, but registration is not. Just show up with your project, ready to stitch!

Book Clubs: The library sponsors two evening book clubs and one daytime book club. All clubs meet at the Treehouse Café on Merchant Street on a monthly basis. All books are provided by the library. As club size is limited, the library maintains a wait list of people interested in joining. New members are invited to join on a first-come, first-served basis. To be added to the wait list, visit the library and provide your name, telephone number and email address.
