Collections

Books:  Titles consist of adult fiction and non-fiction, adult and juvenile biographies, adult large print, children’s picture books, multi-level children’s chapter books, children’s non-fiction, juvenile fiction, young adult fiction, and adult and juvenile reference. 

eBooks:  The Library subscribes to several eBooks through Overdrive.

eBook Readers:  The library has four Sony color nooks for patrons to borrow.  An adult card is required.  Nooks are pre-loaded with popular best sellers.

Playaway View:  The library has four playaway views to borrow.  An adult card is required.  These are portable devices pre-loaded with approximately six children’s titles on each device.

Periodicals:  The library subscribes to daily delivery of the Courier-Post and Philadelphia Inquirer and weekly delivery of the Retrospect.  Back issues of the Retrospect are available.  The library also subscribes to several magazines, which patrons may borrow.  Back issues are available for some titles. 

Online Resources:  Databases include Ebscohost, which offers full text to thousands of magazines.  The library also subscribes to the LearningExpress Library and Heritage Quest. 

DVDs/Blu Rays:  The library offers feature films (both recent and classic), popular television series, children’s titles, and other non-fiction titles for borrowing.  An adult card is required.  New arrivals are available for a three-day rental.  All others are a one week rental. 

Recorded Music:  The library has a variety of compact disc recordings available for borrowing. 

Grab & Go Book Club Bags:  The library offers a variety of book club bags, which contain multiple copies of a title, for patrons to borrow for their book club. 

Museum Passes:  The library offers free admission passes to local attractions for patrons to borrow.  An adult card is required.

Audiobooks:  The library has a variety of abridged and unabridged titles for borrowing.

Downloadable Audio:  The library subscribes to several spoken word audios through Overdrive. 

Local/New Jersey History Collection:  Pamphlets, books, maps and archival material for reference.  Some titles are available for circulation.
